The weight of energy, transportation and water on salaries grows: it would reach Convertibility. Families will now allocate almost 9% of their income to paying for services.
The situation occurs as a consequence of increases in electricity rates. The historical context and the ceilings of this relationship of public services versus salaries have to do with the fall of the "1 peso, 1 dollar" Convertibility, starting in January 2002, when the prices of the economy were deindexed, and mid-2019.
