Tobacco companies believe that the Government wants to raise a tax to 75% and warn that it will impact the price of cigarettes. This was expressed by three chambers of the sector and they refer to internal taxes that, initially, were going to increase to 73% but new versions emerged.

This modification is proposed in the so-called Omnibus Law and if approved, they warn that if approved it will have a direct impact in consumers. The final text of the law will begin to take effect. to be discussed tomorrow.
