Xerox leaves the country and leaves its operations in the hands of an Argentine company. Datco Group, which operates in fiber optics, will incorporate the 270 employees of the printer company in Argentina and Chile.
The Argentine company, whose main business is Silica Networks, a wholesale fiber optic network, will add 270 employees with the new acquisition, for a total of 800 people in 7 countries. The North American firm, which was born as a synonym for photocopiers, is now dedicated to printers and supplies.
