The government plan for urban renewal in cities at high risk of earthquakes was presented today in the Knesset by Elazar Bamberger, CEO of the Government Authority for Urban Renewal. The implementation of the entire plan will provide a solution for the ten local authorities that were defined as having an increased seismic risk.
"We are in a different world in 2024, and our focus is broad renewal, within the framework of construction evacuation complexes," says Bambergers. The government subsidy of the complexes will bring the private market to implement the projects, on realistic timetables.
