The TREE association, which is celebrating its thirtieth anniversary, lists and protects remarkable trees. Some of which experienced the Hundred Years' War or even the Gallic Wars.

For three hundred years, perched on a mound in the heart of the Brocéliande forest, it could be admired from afar. Its roots sheltered, it is said, the ruins of a castle – that of a hero of Arthurian legend – destroyed by the troops of Bertrand du Guesclin in 1372.
