The state of grace following the announcement of the takeover by Rodolphe Saadé only lasted a few days. Five days earlier, the Marseille shipowner, the fifth largest fortune in France, submitted an offer to buy the media branch of Patrick Drahi's Altice group for 1.55 billion euros.
The operation must be completed this summer, before the procedure for renewal by Arcom of the frequency of BFMTV. The new owner of the place makes his first visit to the media which he has just given himself.
