Fisherman Mo'ad Shelbi spotted a turtle in distress in the sea in front of Haifa. Shelby brought the giant turtle into his boat and immediately called Shai Kabasa, a marine inspector at the Nature and Parks Authority.
Turtle was transferred to the sea turtle rescue center on a trawler, where he was hospitalized in intensive care. According to the blood samples, we assume that he suffers from the page injury, but we will have to do a CT scan in the next few days to confirm the diagnosis.
