A 48-year-old American man managed to live free of charge in a hotel in New York for more than 4 years. He even convinced the authorities that he was the real owner of the hotel for a period of time, until he was arrested.
The guy maintains his innocence, but is due back in court in early May 2024. He is accused of violating the order by submitting additional false documents in April and September of last year, when he again tries to transfer ownership of the Hotel to himself.
