A new Cézanne appeared in Aix-en-Provence (Bouches-du-Rhône). A hidden treasure.

It is not a Sainte-Victoire from the master's last years (1839-1906) but a hitherto unknown work by a 20-year-old artist. The workers responsible for the restoration of the family bastide of Jas-de- Bouffan discovered them last August under layers of plaster. With a sky spread across the entire width of the wall, banners and boat masts, it most likely represents the entrance to a port.
