ADAC statistics reveal the most common reason for breakdowns – drivers should pay attention to one detail. On average, the ADAC 2023 was in action every nine seconds.
The “yellow angels’ had a particularly large number of missions in December 2023. In over 44 percent of reported cases there were problems with the car battery. Engine breakdowns take second place with only 22.8 percent. Breakdowns with the generator, starter, the on-board electrical system or the lighting made it to third place.
