Alain Dorval, French voice of Sylvester Stallone and father of Minister Aurore Bergé, died at 77. The actor, also known for having lent his voice to Pat Hibulaire at Disney, had just returned to the stage.

He died of cancer at the Gustave Roussy hospital, a cancer center in the Paris region, “after so many years fighting the disease,” said a press release. He also distinguished himself as the voice double of American actors Nick Nolte (“48 Hours”) and Danny Aiello (‘Radio Days’)
