Aldi Süd is breaking an unwritten law by putting fruit and vegetables in the entrance area. Other supermarkets, including Lidl and Kaufland, also have to go along with another change: the plastic bottles are getting a new function.
In some cases, manufacturers have already made the switch in accordance with EU requirements so that the lid of PET bottles can no longer fall off. A change that affects everyone and is intended to help against environmental pollution. The changes are to follow gradually at Aldi.
