Amy Schumer has endometriosis, an autoimmune disease that affects women. The 42-year-old comedian wrote on Instagram that her face is "more swollen than usual right now" "There are some medical and hormonal things going on in my world right now but I'm fine," she said.
"I enjoyed the feedback and debates about my appearance like all women for almost 20 years," she wrote in the post. "Like any other woman/person there are days when I feel safe and good and other days I want to put a bag over my head"
