The municipality of Hadera is asking the Supreme Court to order the postponement of the discussion on the huge plan promoted by the Ministry of Finance through the Otml. The plan includes the construction of thousands of apartments on open space in the east of the city.
The municipality claims that the plan is planned to be in close proximity to the old Beit Eliezer neighborhood, which is characterized by detached construction. There is a fear that its development will damage natural values and encroach on an ecological corridor.
