Two men aged around 60, on board the aircraft, died in the accident. The accident site is located in an inaccessible area, so the 118 helicopter had to intervene to recover the bodies. The ultralights had left around 2pm from the Roman Aeroclub Prenestino airfield and made a stop at the Vejano airfield.
