In 2023, construction bonuses generated work worth over 80 billion, of which 44 billion (9 more than in 2022) related to the superbonus. In general, the housing sector grew by +0.7% last year.
Last year the private non-residential sector also grew, with +5%. This was revealed by the report from the 2024 Economic Observatory of ANCE, the building constructors' association. The ANCE report notes that in 2021-2022 construction contributed to around a third of Italian GDP growth (+12.3%).
