Attack on a Unifil patrol in Lebanon, soldiers unharmed. A joint patrol of the Lebanese army and the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Lebanon (Unifil) was attacked west of the city of Aita al-Shab in southern Lebanon.
Shots were fired this morning from the Israeli settlement of Shtola, near the border. Fortunately no injuries were reported, according to a spokesperson for the UN mission, which is based in the Lebanese capital, Lektor.
