“Eco 40-60” programs have been available for washing machines since 2021. They work at temperatures of around 25 to a maximum of 45 degrees.
They are suitable for textiles that can be washed at 40 degrees or more. The most electricity is used to heat the water for washing. Even short washing programs at 40 degree or more are not more economical. They usually require significantly more energy to compensate for the lack of washing time - and more water to achieve good cleaning results.
