The MotoGP World Championship returns over the weekend with the Italian Grand Prix. The official Ducati team will be able to field its pair of riders in MotoGP.

Francesco Bagnaia will be joined by Enea Bastianini. The rider from Rimini had suffered an injury in the first Sprint race at Portimão and had returned to the track in Spain at the beginning of May, but was then forced to retire after free practice because he was still in pain. In the Le Mans accident the reigning World Champion had suffered a small fracture to his right ankle.
