Blitz on the Laocoön, appeal rejected and conviction confirmed - Last hour. The Court of Appeal of the Vatican Tribunal rejected the appeal of the Ultima Generation activists and confirmed the sentence of 12 June of nine months' imprisonment, with a suspended sentence, and 28 months.
The two condemned activists are Ester Goffi and Guido Viero. The protest that took place in the Vatican Museums, when they glued themselves to the statue of the La Cocoön, in August 2022.
