American actress and model Olivia Munn, 43, revealed Wednesday that she underwent a double mastectomy last year. Munn was diagnosed with an “aggressive and fast-progressing” form of breast cancer.

The actress, known for her roles in the franchises Iron Man, Lego, X-Men, and the series The Newsroom, was the victim of an ‘aggressive and rapidly progressing’ form of the disease. On her Instagram account, after appearing on Sunday at the Oscars in Hollywood with her companion - American comedian John Mulaney - Munn wrote: "I hope that by sharing this, it will help others find comfort, inspiration and support for their own journey"
