At least traces of mineral oil were found in eight of the nine butter alternatives. Unlike margarine, vegan butter is supposed to be solid at room temperature. Although many people consider them to be healthier, mineral oil has even been found in margarine. But what is the difference between butter, its vegan alternative and margarine?
