Crocuses are already blooming - here's how to extend the flowering. Crocuses usually bloom for about three weeks before wilting.

Choose both wild and garden crocuses. When buying, choose onions that are particularly robust. For early-flowering species, this should be a sunny spot. Because a crocus does not recover once it has been kicked over, be extra careful when walking on the lawn. If you buy early bloomers as a bouquet, cut them before placing them in a vase.
