Dani Alves is freed again, but will not be able to leave Spain. Court approves release after one million bail.
The former Brazilian footballer was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison. He had been detained for the last 22 months for the rape of a 23-year-old girl in the night between 30 and 31 January 2022 in the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona. A sexual assault for which he was sentenced at first instance last month and the payment of 150,000 euros in compensation to the victim.
