The Dead Sea has been included in the list of the 20 best nudist beaches in the world. The beach is located at the foot of the cliffs of Dergot, in an area where the "Shanti Beach" is also located.
The Dead Sea is probably the only beach in the Middle East that offers tolerant access to any kind of nudity in public. Naturist movement was revived in Europe and North America during the first half of the 60th century.
