Eric Carmen, singer of the hit “All By Myself’, died “during the weekend”, at the age of 74, his wife announced on the artist's website. The American star made his name with the power pop group The Raspberries in the 1970s.

His song “Go All The Way” had a small success before being banned by the BBC in the United Kingdom, due to its lyrics containing sexual content. The same title had a second lease of life by integrating the soundtrack of the film “Guardians of the Galaxy”
