Don't throw away bulb flowers in pots that have faded - this way they will bloom again. Between September and November is the ideal time to plant the early blooming bulbs in the ground.
Then they sprout again in spring. If you don't have space to store the flower bulbs, you can plant them directly from the pot into the garden. These should be planted twice as deep in the soil as they are high. If an onion consists of two parts, it is better to keep them together if they fit tightly together.
