Downton Abbey, the hit British series created by Julian Fellowes, is set to return for its seventh season. No one knows if we will find the much-loved cast of the previous seasons and the two films that followed, but the bosses are apparently “delighted” Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern, Michelle Dockery and the unique Maggie Smith starred in the 6 seasons that made the success of the series upon its release in 2010.
After the broadcast of the last episode, in 2015, 2 films followed one another. The first, released in France on September 25, 2019, was a great success.
