29 will vote with the majority system and 8 with the proportional system. The voters called to the polls for the Municipal elections are 484,218 in total.. The only provincial capital affected by this electoral round is Caltanissetta; among the largest municipalities are Gela, in the Nisseno area and Mazara del Vallo.
