Emilio Rigamonti, 92, at the helm for decades of the historic sausage factory that still bears the family name, died in Sondrio. In 2013 he participated in the celebration for the centenary of the company that made known the salami-prince of Valtellina all over the world.
He is survived by his wife and a daughter. The president of the Consorzio di Tutela Bresaola dellaValtellina, Mario Moro, said: "We join the pain of the family"
