Ernesto Assante, historic journalist of Repubblica - Notizie, has died. He had recently turned 66 on February 12th.

Born in Naples in 1958, after collaborating with il manifesto he began writing for the newspaper. He was a correspondent until 2021 and responsible for the supplements Musica, Computer Valley and Computer, Internet e Altro. He directed McLink and Kataweb. On TV he was a consultant and author of numerous programs, including Sanremo.
