EU, 'nutritional information' will not be needed on wine labels - Wine.EU. The new EU rules on the identification of the QR code for wine labeling make "explicit reference to the list of ingredients" EU Agriculture Commissioner Janusz Wojciechowski says this in a letter in response to the concerns raised by the Agriculture Committee of the European Chamber.
"My services have examined all the powers under Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 and concluded that none of them allows the Commission to make such a change on the basis of existing powers"
