15 passengers out of 2,000 on board were placed in isolation, due to cholera symptoms. The ship, which goes by the name "The Norwegian Dawn" (the "Norwegian Dawn") was turned away from a berth in Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius, on Sunday.

The isolated passengers were tested after they began experiencing symptoms of a stomach-related illness, according to a spokesperson for Norwegian Cruise Line in the US. Multiple media outlets have reported that the stomach illness is suspected to be Cholera.
