Fifteen years after the L'Aquila earthquake, reconstruction is underway. The capital is further ahead than the municipalities of the crater, slower on the public.
The real problem is represented by the return of people to renovated and rebuilt houses to repair the damage in the area hit by the earthquake. In the historic center all the opinions have been issued and 8 out of 10 buildings have been rebuilt. The efforts are concentrated on the reconstruction of public buildings and in particular on schools, theatres, places of aggregation.
