Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has been suspended for two matches by the Spanish Football Federation. Bellingham received a red card during the 2-2 draw in Valencia last Saturday.

The Madrid club appealed against this sanction, believing that the referee had made an "error" in excluding the English player. But the appeal was rejected by the disciplinary commission. The league's top scorer (16 goals) will therefore miss the next two league matches, Sunday against Celta Vigo and March 16 against Osasuna.
