A 24-hour general strike called by the country's main trade unions is currently underway. At the site of the tragedy, in Tebi, near Larissa, more than a thousand people and many relatives of the victims gathered to lay flowers in front of the photos of those who lost their lives a year ago. The police responded with smoke bombs and stun grenades.
