[HIGHLIGHTS] Green light to the appointments Rai, Chiocci to Tg1 and Preziosi to Tg2

Rai Board of Directors approve appointments to heads and genres of newspapers and genres. The appointments were made with the contrary vote of the president of the board.

The board also approved the appointment of the new CEO of Rai, Paolo DelBroco. The new CEO will be the first woman to hold the post of CEO of a major Italian newspaper. The appointment was made on the recommendation of the chairman of the Rai board of directors, Gian-Carlo Girolamo. The decision was approved on the basis that Del Broco was the best candidate for the post.
