"I don't think Fontana was referring to me, I have everything but hidden the dust under the carpet. My election campaign was also based on hiring new policemen, something we are doing," says mayor of Milan.
"I did not understand if more people are coming from the government, I did my part," he adds. "What I have asked for from the beginning is an equivalent between the effort we are making to add new policemen and an equal amount of police and carabinieri, and I do not think this is happening," he concluded.
