In 2024 Valentine's Day turnover is around 80 million, in line with 2023, with the sale of around 35 million flowers. A bouquet of local flowers is fresher and more fragrant than roses and orchids arriving from Colombia, Kenya, Ethiopia and Taiwan.
A stem of freesias and carnations costs 2.50 euros, while snapdragons and gerberas cost around 3 euros, as do tulips. The price of poppies, calla lilies and anemone is slightly higher (3.5 euros)
