The National Meteorological Service (SMN) issued yellow and orange storm alerts for the City of Buenos Aires and much of central and coastal area of country. The SMN also warned of strong winds and snowfall for Patagonia and the mountain range of Chubut, Neuquén and Mendoza have yellow alert for snowfall.
