In photos, the traditional Vienna Ball and its 160 debutantes from Austrian good society. On the program: formal dance and dress code to the nines.

All the debutantes, from the Austrian bourgeoisie, were thus dressed in a white dress (selected by them) and a pair of white gloves. The Ball opened with the notes of the national anthem, followed by performances by Lithuanian mezzo-soprano Elīna Garanča and Polish tenor Piotr Beczała.
