This morning the mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri proceeded to the transcription of the first two foreign birth certificates of children of two mothers. It is a child born in France with Italian and French mothers and a girl born in England, with a couple of Italian-English mothers.

"This act guarantees minors the recognition of Italian citizenship with the relative rights and mothers full duties towards them," reads a note from the Capitol. The transcription arrives at the eve of RomaPride, already at the center of controversy for the patronage removed from the Lazio region precisely because of the opposition to gestation for others.
