The acceleration of projects on the site of the former Zrifin camp is expected to lead to the construction of a new neighborhood in Rishon LeZion in the coming years. A large portion of the apartments will be marketed as part of an apartment program at a discount by the Ministry of Construction and Housing – at a hysterical discount that can reach up to NIS <> million for those eligible.
The new neighborhood will house about 50,80 housing units, including assisted living and student dormitories, and about 20,000 new residents.
