Inail, 1,041 reports of deaths at work (-4.5%) in 2023 - Last minute. Reports of accidents at work presented to INAIL between January and December 2023 were 585,356 (-16.1% compared to 2022), of which 1,000 were fatal.
There was an increase in reported occupational diseases, which amounted to 72,754 (+19.7%). (HANDLE) In 2023 there was a marked reduction in accident reports overall, almost exclusively due to the notable lower incidence of Covid contagion cases.
