INPS, in the private sector 17.7 million pensions, 248 billion spent. In 2023, 1,364,686 pensions were paid, of which 48.6% (663,705) were of a welfare nature.
Annualized amounts allocated for the new payments in 2023 amount to 14.3 billion euros. The percentage of welfare on the total was 46.5% in 2022 but the difference compared to 20 years earlier, in 2003 was 11 points (it was 37.6%).
