Major retrospective dedicated to the director of Avatar will open at the Cinémathèque française on April 3, 2024. It will bring together more than 300 works from the filmmaker's personal collection.
The exhibition traces "six decades of an innovative work", through drawings, pastels, paintings or photographs. The route is divided into six parts: "Dreaming with your eyes wide open", "The Human Machine", "Exploring the unknown", "Titanic: going back in time" and finally "Untamed Worlds"
