Land of fires, the Court of Cassation cancels the confiscation of the Pellinis' assets. Over 200 million euros will be returned to entrepreneurs.
The three brothers Giovanni, Cuono and Salvatore Pellini were condemned with a final sentence for illicit waste trafficking and held responsible for the pollution of the Acerra area, a municipality in the Neapolitan hinterland included in the so-called Land of Fires. The goods must now be return to the Pellini's.
