League amendment to eliminate run-offs, government calls for withdrawal. The Northern League could transform it into an agenda for the decree.

The League, as announced yesterday, has re-proposed the one on the third mandate for the presidents of the Regions. The other amendment concerns the possibility for mayors to be elected in the first round if they exceed 40% of the votes, therefore a stop to the run-off. According to the amendment "the candidate who has obtained the highest number of valid votes is proclaimed elected mayor"
