This morning he then went to the presidential palace for a meeting with the Egyptian president, Abdel Fattah Al Sisi. Cairo is the first stop on da Silva's African tour, the second in his third presidential term. The visit is on the occasion of the centenary of diplomatic relations between Egypt and Brazil.
