The Brazilian president, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, will return to Brazil from the G7, in Hiroshima, without having had a bilateral meeting with the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. Sources at the Palacio do Planalto (seat of the Brazilian Presidency) did not explain why the meeting between the two leaders did not take place.

But they specified that the Lula government had nevertheless proposed a time to receive Zelenski. The leader of Ukraine confirmed the Brazilian government's version that there had been an incompatibility of agendas.
